An AIS-affiliated student journal
The Information Systems Student Research Journal (ISSRJ) is a dedicated platform for publishing innovative research conducted by IS students at both graduate (master’s) and undergraduate (bachelor’s) levels. The journal’s mission is to champion original student research that engages with cutting-edge IS knowledge, prioritizing scientific relevance and novel ideas that might be overlooked in traditional academic outlets. ISSRJ is methodology-agnostic, accepting any well-articulated approach from design science research to traditional quantitative and qualitative methods. While maintaining research transparency and rigor, the journal acknowledges students’ developing research competencies and supports students in developing publishable work. ISSRJ accepts various submission types, including research papers, thesis summaries, and reflection notes. The journal accepts submissions from current students or those who have completed their degree within the past two years, serving as a stepping stone for the next generation of IS practitioners and researchers.
